We will adjust for movement room according to the fit you select and account for shrinkage as well.

Select the unit system you will use to provide your measurements and the fit for your shirt below.

Wrap the measuring tape around the neck, and place two fingers between the neck and the tape.

Wrap the measuring tape around the chest. Keep the tape high up under the arms. Place two fingers between the chest and the tape. Stand naturally for this.

Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of the waist. This is usually close to the belly button. Again, place two fingers between the waist and the tape. Also, stand naturally for this.

Wrap the measuring tape around the widest point of your hips. This is usually around the buttocks and below the belt. Place two fingers between the waist and the tape.

Find the highest point on the shoulders that is closest to the neck, from this point measure straight downwards to the point where you want the shirt to end.

Find the spot where the shoulder meets the arm, where a sleeve seam would normally sit. Measure from this point to the same point on the opposite side. The tape should arch up to the base of the neck.

Find the spot where the shoulder meets the arm. This is where a sleeve seam would normally sit. Measure from this point down along the arm and end where the thumb is attached to the hand. Keep the arm straight.

We take possible shrinkage into consideration and might therefore slightly adjust your measurements.

Lay the shirt flat down facing up, open the collar and spread it out. Measure from where the button is stitched to the end of the paired buttonhole. They are on opposite ends of the collar.

While still keeping the shirt flat and facing up, measure from one side of the shirt right below the armpit to the same point on the opposite side. Keep the tape straight.

While still keeping the shirt flat and facing up, find the point on the shirt where your belly button would be and measure from one side of the shirt across to the same point on the opposite side.

While still keeping the shirt flat facing up, measure from the lowest point on one side of the shirt to the same point on the opposite side of the shirt.

While still keeping the shirt flat facing up, measure down along the shirt in a straight line from the seam close to the collar to where the dress shirt ends.

Spread the shirt out and place it face down. Find the seam where the shoulder meets the back of the shirt, then measure from the top of this seam across the shirt to the seam on the opposite side.

Lay the shirt flat down and facing up, measure from the top of the shoulder seam down in a straight line along the outer edge of the shirt sleeve to the end of the cuff.
